What is This?
File Blaster is a small(ish) application that copies the entire contents of a user-specified folder to a user-specified folder in every folder in another user-specified folder. How's that for confusing?!?!?! It was written to copy Preference Files to a folder in every user's folder on a Macintosh Manager Documents server. At the moment, that's probably all you can use it for. If you find another use, let me know.

Usage Notes
File Blaster is best run on an OS 8 or OS 9 machine (the OS X version looks ugly), which has the Documents server mounted. You *can* run it on your server, but don't blame me if File Blaster crashes and dorfs your server into oblivion (it probably won't, but you've been warned).

File Blaster uses Threads when it copies files. This means that you can continue to use your computer while File Blaster is in the background doin' its thang.

If you select the "Move to Trash" option, your Blastin' times will significantly increase.

When you open a Settings file that points to a folder on an unmounted server, you will be asked if you want to try to mount the server. This warning is given in an attempt to avoid long delays if the server is not available.

For more details on using File Blaster, see the tutorial file on my web site, or peruse the extensive Online Help section.

How Much is it?
This version (1.5.1) is still freeware. This isn't the same as Public Domain software. I still retain all rights to this application, but I'm not charging for it. If you use File Blaster, I'd appreciate it if you'd email me and let me know what you're using it for, and what you think of it. You could also send me a postcard and tell me what you think of File Blaster:

(On a sidenote, according to the number of postcards and emails I've received, only seven people are using File Blaster. Are you other people feeling guilty yet?!?)

Does it have any Bugs?
No. How dare you say that!! At least, I don't think it does (anymore). If you find any, let me know.

Will there be Updates?
Maybe. If you think of anything you'd like to see in File Blaster, let me know.
